How We Get This Information
All of the personal information that we collect is provided to us directly by your registered organisation when they register you to use our service so that we can create an account for you.
Facial movement data and unaltered video are only recorded when you start a movement in the app as part of a routine. The recording is stopped either when the maximum time elapses or you manually stop the recording.
Why We Collect This Information
We collect personal contact information to create your user account to allow you to use the Facial Dynamics app. We also use this information for the ongoing management of your account, for example to identify you when you contact us in relation to use of our services or require product support.
We collect facial data and video to allow your registered organisation to analyse your facial movement via graphs and video.
Under the General Data Protection Regulations, the lawful bases we rely on for processing that information is to fulfill our contractual obligation and in pursuit of our legitimate interests.
Who We Share This Information With
We do not share your information with any third-party organisations for the purposes of direct marketing. When we use third party processors to provide elements of our service, we have contracts in place to ensure they cannot do anything with your personal information unless instructed by us. Any third-party processors that we use will not share your information with any other organisation apart from us and we will impose that they keep your information securely.
In some cases, we are obliged to share information. For example, under a court order or regulatory bodies, and other authorities to further their, or our objectives. If we need to share information, we will always share only what is necessary and we will ensure that we have a lawful basis for sharing information.
How Long We Keep This Information
We do not retain any data (including anonymised facial data) indefinitely.
Your personal contact information will be retained until your organisation irrecoverably deletes your account, or until the organisation is no longer a client of Life Analytics Ltd, whichever is sooner.
Your facial movement and video data will be retained until your organisation irrecoverably deletes the recording associated with that data, or irrecoverably deletes your account, or until the organisation is no longer a client of Life Analytics Ltd, whichever is sooner. This is to allow the organisation to continue to analyse historical data, and compare it to latest data.
In any event, all personal contact, facial movement, and video data will be irrecoverably deleted when your account is made inactive by your organisation for a period of 3 years.
Whilst we have your information, it is stored within the UK.
How You Can Access The Information We Hold About You
You can access the information we hold about you by contacting us using the details above. Under the General Data Protection Regulations, you have the following rights:
Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information
Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing – You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances
Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

Usage
Life Analytics Ltd built the Facial Dynamics iOS App as a free companion app to the Facial Dynamics service. This app is provided by Life Analytics Ltd at no cost to the user and is intended for use as is.
Facial Dynamics uses the device’s front facing TrueDepth camera to record the user’s facial movements. The data that Facial Dynamics records consists of the values of 52 facial locations, and front-facing video (without audio). These recordings are stored securely on third-party services. This is to allow remote analysis of these movements by the organisation the user is registered with. This feature must be opted-into, and the user will be prompted that the app wishes to access the camera on their device.
Facial Dynamics does not record any depth data from any camera.
A login token is stored securely on the app. No other data is stored in the app.
Analytics Data
Apple Inc. provides analytical data to provide feedback and insight on usage and app performance. This data is anonymised and must be opted-into by the user. The user can opt out at any time by going to their device settings.
